Modern television projects in the field of cultural and film studies

Abstract.

The article emphasizes that modern Ukrainian humanities are actively expanding the research space from decade to decade, opening new “problematic theoretical planes”, the understanding of which may have prospects thanks to the use of the principles of cultural analysis, in particular, interdisciplinarity, dialogism, personalization. The above naturally reveals another “problematic theoretical plane”, which unites a complex of issues related both to the specifics of modern television projects and to a noticeable change in the production, functional, aesthetic and artistic “load” in the tandems “cultural studies – film studies” and “cinema – television”. When considering “modern television projects”: TV series, adaptations of literary classics, numerous talk shows, political shows, entertainment programs, interviews with prominent politicians, scientists, actors, which have been carried out by permanent presenters as subjects of theoretical analysis for decades, – the article emphasizes that the history of the development of television has shown many examples of “pure” television “product”, making this type of artistic activity an integral part of the lives of millions of people. The defining “problematic theoretical plane” in the article is the “artistic paradigm”, which summarizes its content and actualizes the thematic orientation.
