Abstract.

The article examines the management practices of the Ukrainian alternative electronic music scene as a multi-level system for organizing cultural events, managing communities, and supporting artists. It analyzes the specifics of organizing raves, festivals, and club nights, the role of promoters, independent collectives, and labels in shaping the scene, as well as the particularities of community management and DIY approaches1. Special attention is given to the transformation of event formats, the growth of community solidarity, and the rethinking of music’s cultural mission, particularly in response to social and political challenges. The study, utilizing qualitative analysis of media and case studies of key initiatives, concludes that effective management in this sphere combines creativity, self-organization, and flexibility. These factors foster the resilience and development of Ukraine’s cultural environment and promote its growing integration into the international music landscape.
