Abstract.
This article is the second part of the comprehension of the existential analysis of human subjectivity both on the universal and national levels, as the existential of Poles with an emphasis on Polish writers, carried out by the Polish writer Witold Gombrowicz in his “Diary” of 1953–1969.
If, in the first part of the article, the main focus was on the comprehension of the dialectic of “I” and “We” and the solution to the problem of preserving personality in a totalitarian society, then in the second part the process of Gombrowicz’s self-reflection regarding the essence of his own “I” as a person and a writer is comprehended, during which he reflects on the problems of life and death of man and art, the national identity of man and art, the originality of artistic creativity and the criteria of genuine art. The main conclusion that Gombrowicz and the author share is that a person and society must want to become unique and perfect, realize and believe that there is nothing impossible for a person in self-realization and improvement. And the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people in the Russian-Ukrainian war of 2022 confirms this.
