Abstract.

The article provides a theoretical substantiation and practical systematization of methodological tools for developing and expanding the acting range of theatre students through the parallel mastery of polar genre forms: poems and fables. A synergetic approach to training the actor’s psychotechnique has been developed, wherein the work on poetic and satirical material is reimagined as an integrated technology for the high-amplitude switching of the performer’s resonating, breathing, and somatic registers within the coordinates “from the serious to the comic and vice versa.” It is demonstrated that the strict architectonics of a poem lays the foundation for the dramatic register and lower costal diaphragmatic breathing without laryngeal forcing, whereas the dual nature of a fable unleashes playful eccentricity and artistic grotesque. The proposed set of training exercises (“Genre Pendulum,” “Blitz Transformation”) optimizes sound production under conditions of stage stress, eliminates acting clichés, and shifts speech characterization skills into the domain of stable subconscious automatism.
