Анотація.
Ця стаття має на меті дослідити сприйняття французьких естетичних і культурних наративів Антоном Ульріхом Брауншвейзьким, визначним німецьким інтелектуалом і літератором, у його літературній спадщині періоду 1650-х — 1660-х років. Наша мета — зʼясувати, як саме Антон Ульріх осмислював розвиток французької придворної культури та яким чином він реагував на її стрімку експансію в Європі в роки раннього правління Людовика XIV. У статті досліджується семіотичний діалог між знаменитим французьким «Королівським балетом ночі» Ісаака де Бенсерада (1653) та менш відомим німецьким «Балетом дня» (1659), створеним Антоном Ульріхом, який на той час був співрегентом-спадкоємцем герцогства Брауншвейг і Люнебург. Особливий акцент у дослідженні зроблено на порівнянні текстової та стилістичної близькості й розбіжностей у лібрето обох творів.
У цій статті ми також аналізуємо сприйняття Антоном Ульріхом жанру французького героїчного роману, способи його інтерпретації та оцінку наявного в ньому французького впливу. У вступі до свого власного твору «Ясновельможна сирійка Арамена» (1669), що є першим відомим зразком німецького галантного роману, Антон Ульріх розгортає власну доктрину розвитку німецької літератури та її співіснування з іноземними наративами, зокрема французькими. Це дослідження слугує для зʼясування масштабів та особливостей французьких впливів на творчість Антона Ульріха — знакового представника німецької придворної культури епохи бароко.
